Cortney Steinbacher is the Chief Financial & Systems Officer (CFSO) at The Million Dollar Solution, where she works alongside business owners and leadership teams to turn financial complexity into clarity, confidence, and sustainable profit. With a hands-on, strategic approach, Cortney helps firms uncover inefficiencies, strengthen financial systems, and make smarter decisions rooted in real numbers—not guesswork.

Drawing on deep expertise in accounting, financial planning, and operational strategy, Cortney partners with businesses to improve cash flow, reduce costs, price services more profitably, and build financial infrastructures that support long-term growth. Her work is especially impactful for owners who feel successful on paper but uncertain about what their numbers are really telling them.

In addition to her consulting work, Cortney serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak, where she rose from Senior Staff Accountant to CFO in just a few years. In that role, she has led firm-wide financial transformation initiatives, streamlined accounting and billing operations, implemented modern financial systems, and supported leadership with clear, actionable financial insight.

Cortney holds both a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Accounting from Northeastern University. Her professional background includes internships at Ernst & Young and TJX Companies, as well as public accounting experience at RSM in Boston. She is a Kolbe Certified Consultant, an Actionstep Partner, and the author of Fixed Fee Formula, where she shares practical strategies for building predictable revenue and sustainable business models.

Known for her ability to translate complex financial data into plain-English guidance, Cortney helps clients replace financial anxiety with informed action. She brings a rare blend of technical expertise, operational experience, and real-world leadership insight to every engagement.

Cortney is based in Boston, Massachusetts. Outside of work, she enjoys walking her dog, Minnie, along Boston Harbor, getting lost in a good book, and traveling.
