Cortney has gained much of her experience and expertise as the Business Financial Analyst at Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak. She joined the firm in March 2021 and quickly rose from her initial role as Senior Staff Accountant to become an instrumental figure in financial planning and analysis. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Accounting from Northeastern University. Her internships at Ernst & Young and TJX companies, followed by her years in public accounting at RSM, Boston, equipped her with an extensive finance and accounting background, enabling her to streamline finance department operations and implement policy improvements with remarkable efficiency. Additionally, Cortney is a Kolbe Certified Consultant and a Certified Actionstep Partner, enabling her to assist firms in enhancing their profitability and productivity across all aspects of their business.

Cortney resides in Boston, MA, where she can be found after work walking her dog, Minnie, around Boston Harbor. She also finds joy in the pages of a good book and traveling the world.
